Title: Where is/was Lisera [sic?] in Co. Armagh
Post by: Nona Anon on Tuesday 23 February 10 15:44 GMT (UK)
Looking for a general idea of where on the map Lisera [spelling??] in Co. Armagh is/was in the early 1700's.
There were some MOODY's (John, William and possibly James) that lived there at one time.  I can't seem to find a map that shows this place.
  Thank You for any help.

Hi Nona.

Possibly Lisraw in Ballymore Parish?

It could be Lissaraw. There are 2 townlands with that name; in Creggan parish and Killevy parish. In general terms, if you were looking for them on a map, then Creggan would be Crossmaglen and Killevy would be Newry.
