I am thinking along the lines that "Fanny" was the boatmans nickname for Hannah? keeping in mind Fanny was a boatmants lass too. Thomas's age at death (74: giving a birth of 1872) fits in well with his marriage in 1895 and the 1901 census age 29. They are in Runcorn Town Cemetery Plot 15 Grave 312 with them is Hannah Gibbons age 20, spinster buried 12 June 1929. Thomas buried 11 march 1946. Fanny 1 Jan 1927 . all three lived at 22 King Street.
