I would be very grateful if anyone could help with tracing the birth of JAMES TRIGG 1796. I have found from other earlier postings his marriage in uppingham and his family seem to be there but I also know that he and his wife and child had a removal order on them in 1833 sending them to Thistleton. I am confused as I assume this must be where he was born, but everything else is Uppingham. Any help anyone could give me would be gratefully received. Thanks

Hi,
Thistleton might be where his wife came from - I have a few that were sent back to the wife's parish of birth.

Hi Laura
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately his wife Elizabeth says she was born in Uppingham on a later census. Thanks again for yout help.

Hi,
I maybe too late and you may no longer need the information but just in case I found the following baptism in the transcribed Uppingham parish records:
30 Jan 1796, James Trigg, S/O William/Jane, Uppingham.
No baptism for him in Thistleton.
:)

I didn't have that - thanks very much.

If James was Married to Elizabeth HUDSON, 27 Jan 1826, St Peter & St Paul, Uppingham then he was a WIDOWER.
(Source FreeREG)
Possible 1st Marriage to Mary BYDALE, 17 Jan 1819 same Church.
James also Witnessed the Marriage of William HUDSON/Susanna BLUNT 1828.
(both on FreeREG)
WILLIAM Trigg Christened 12 May 1820, Uppingham to JAMES/MARY

James/Elizabeth name a Daug Jane 1840 so Parents for James look good to me that jadzia found.

Thanks Jadzia for the info about James, one more step made. I agree with the later postings about the two marriages just need to find out about William and Jane now.
