Title: dating and restoration pretty please
Post by: ceitidh. on Thursday 18 February 10 23:47 GMT (UK)

Hello all,

Attached is a photograph of a mystery lady, the younger woman on the right, who may or may not be a relative of mine. I think that its possibly a great-great-great aunt of mine who married in London in 1886, although I could be mistaken as the only link really is that marriage was in London, as was the studio in which this photograph was taken. I'd also be interested to see what anyone can do restoration wise as I have neither the skill nor the time to do it any justice.

Many thanks in advance,

Ceitidh.

Thomas Howell was at this address 1881-8,the dress style & cardstock would suggest a mid - late 1880's date.

Thank you all for your time and effort, its most appreciated and the results are far better than anything I could come up with! Although I'll never be able to be absolutely certain about the identity of the young woman in the photograph, its perhaps fair to assume that it is who I suspected it might be, based on the date that the studio was there.

Many thanks for everyone's input!
