Title: THOMAS JACKSON, BARMBY MOOR
Post by: sellio on Friday 12 February 10 19:31 GMT (UK)
My g*3 grandfather was Thomas Jackson, born 1806 (census records) in Barmby Moor, near Pocklington. He is listed on the census returns as widowed. I cannot find his wife. I know his mother was Ann, born 1780.

I am stuck and cannot get back any further. Can anyone help, please?

Surely with 4 kids in 1841 you could find the name of their mother?

Thomas Jackson     35
John Jackson    14
Robert Jackson    12
Samuel Jackson    8
George Jackson    6

Look for marriages from here:

If you are not familiar with searching parish records then be sure to take a gander at "Beginners" hints.
