Title: BRADLEY (name) family research
Post by: handy on Friday 18 March 05 15:30 GMT (UK)
I would like to know if anyone is researching the BRADLEY'S. My interest is that I am a descendant of EMMANUEL BRADLEY who mar. NANCY OAKLEY at Kingswinford on the 19th of July 1829. He was my gggrandad. I am  trying to find EMM.'s parents. According to F.S. his parents are Joshua and Sarah, but no proof too date. I have traced  thro' to date but I would like to go back if possible.

I have a John Bradley born c 1847 in Tipton/Worcester/Dudley (varies according to census etc). His father was William. In 1881 there was an Emmanuel (19 yrs) lodging with John and family. John later came to Lancashire and I know there was an Emmanuel born around 1920s.
On checking 1881 info online however,  there were quite a few Emmanuels around so not such a family name as I thought!
