Hi

I have made several attemps at this
without achieving anything I think is woth posting

If you could get this rescanned at 300 to 600 dpi (72dpi at present)
It would give the restorers a better chance of an acceptable restore of you photo

I thought I had already posted a second higher resolution pic but it must have been removed ?  :-\

Thanks for the efforts.

I will work on my scanning limitations. Scanning at 300 but have to reduce size to post. When I try to improve lighting etc  of original it get reduced to 72 ?

I have had some spare time on my hands lately so here are a couple from me

Kept the second one as close as possible to the original

Thanks Mike but please don't retire. I had a lot of spare time and was able to sit undisturbed and just plod away at it.
I must admit it was fun to do and I enjoyed myself.

At last ...   here 's mine ... I actually think the chap on the right looks a bit like he has lost an arm ...  :(
ps I used the first pic you posted ... it was better to work on ..as it was uncompressed .. where has the esecond one gone to?
