When looking at the search results on Family Search my browser IE8 is telling me that pages are unavailable when I try to go back to search results and I should press reply. When I do this I go back to the search page and have to start again. Really annoying when I have 20 plus results to look at. Do I need to adjust my settings in some way? It does not happen on other sites. Is the problem with FS or my browser.
Mike
p.s it does not happen with Firefox but I find the words on the screen are much smaller with Firefox.

Hi
Not a solution to IE but when in Firefox, go to View and Zoom in and the text will enlarge. You can do this until it's as large as you need :)

It is annoying, it happens to me and it didn't until recently.
Click on search results on the page rather than the back button.
If you then want to modify the search click on modify search.
I also find that I cannot choose which facility if I want - for example if I click on Census it won't give me the option of just census I have to search the lot.

Using the back button to return to search results will always result in the browser asking you to re-submit the search. This isn't just on Ancestry, other sites including FindMyPast and The Genealogist will do the same. One way around it is to right-click on what you want to see, and then choose "Open in a new window" or "Open in a new tab" (if you have enabled tabbed browsing). That way you can get back to your search results without reloading.
P.S. You can adjust the text size on IE8 with CTRL and + and - keys, or if you have a mouse with a wheel, press CTRL and use the mouse wheel.
