Title: Outerbenorth - Cardinham Nr Bodmin
Post by: jaspar on Tuesday 09 February 10 16:00 GMT (UK)
I'm trying to find out any history of Outerbenorth, Cardinham Nr Bodmin, does anyone know how I can find out how old the area is, I have Census returns from 1841 but I'm sure it must be older than this, any help much appreciated.

Many thanks

Jaspar

Hi Jasper
Dont know much about the place, but it is only 5 miles from me and i never new it was there, you learn something new every day.LOL
I can tell you its between Liskeard and Bodmin in the Glen Vally in the Cardinham Woods, beautiful place.Googled it not much info but it did say all records  for (and its spelt) Outer Benorth is at Cornwalls Record office Truro, could try emailing them.
There was a 1891 census but did not know who you where looking for or what.
I am sure some one on here will know a lot more.
Hope this helps a bit
 Regards dodo50
