Do you know what his parents' names were?  I found a number of newspaper articles from Missouri that refer to an Elmer Kunze, son of Emil Kunze, but I'm not sure if he's your guy as this Elmer appears to be married to someone other than Mary.

Edited to add:  I see that his death certificate says his parents were Louis and Anna, so I guess the other Elmer was the wrong one.

Julie, what sort of information are you looking for?  Information about what happened during his lifetime, about his descendants, about his ancestors?

Thanks for all your help. This is definitely the right family.  I am doing this research for my father in law, who is not very handy with a computer. He is hoping to trace his family roots back as far as he can and put together a family tree. Find out who his ancestors were and where they came from.  He also was hoping to find information on his half brother, (*) the only thing he knows about him is that he was born in Missouri to Elmer and Mary Kunze in the late 1930's or early 40's. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
Julie

There is a death certificate for Anna Kunze, daughter of John Albrecht, who died 28 Nov. 1926 here:  http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/birthdeath/

The website shellyesq gave you above is brilliant - you may learn more than you think from that.  You will be able to see the death of Elmer in 1955 and it gives a name of the informant. Perhaps this is the wife of the half brother you mentioned or Elmers second wife.  The name it shows as the informant died in 1998
If you did'nt record the information on the marriage and WW 2 enlistment record that was removed - please come back and we can re-write it for you.

Good Luck  ;D

Anna Kunze shows up on the obituary index here:  http://www.slpl.org/slpl/gateways/article240117800.asp  There are volunteers in St. Louis Co., Missouri who will do look-ups listed at www.raogk.org.
