Do you have a scanner or digital camera so you can get it onto the computer, or is it already on the computer?
Stephen :)
-
It is on my laptop
-
You could host it on Photobucket or Imageshack and post the URL address of the certificate on here.
Stephen :)
-
Hi
Thanks I will try that or if I sent you my email address I can email to you
-
If it is on your laptop you can click on post reply - at the bottom you will see in blue -
Attach a photograph or image
Click on that blue message and it will open and say Attach. Click on Browse and it should go to all your photos and give you the chance to choose the one you want to post. When you find the one you want, click on open and it will download it for you.

Hi
Hope this works
-
I tried attaching a picture for the first time last week, and did just as it said - it did work but at first I didn't realise it had.
Having followed all the steps to Open (just as oldtimer described) I then pressed preview and couldn't see it. It was only when I actually pressed 'Post' that I realised it had worked.
Good luck!

It looks like she died June 11th in George Street, Paisley. Her parents seem to be Thomas and Hannah Callaghan, but I can't read the maiden name of Hannah (I think it starts with P).

...dyspepsia and consequent general debility
-
She died of dyspepsia (indigestion - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyspepsia), and the consequential debility one month (which I think means that she suffered from dyspepsia for a month.

The surname looks like Prushalls ?
-
Well, our posts collided but I opened your picture fine.
Dyspepsia, leading to consequent debility - 1 month? Is that how other's read it? Nowadays Dyspepsia can mean anything from heartburn to stomach pains and we probably pop a Gaviscon. In 1891 I imagine the pain could have been an ulcer that burst, anything in the stomach? Other's thoughts?
I read her mother's name as Hannah Prushall - I think the double L has crossed into the next column so it looks as if it is part of the word 'Certified by'
Place of death: Not so easy. Could it be Laurel Street with a very fancy 'L'? Otherwise it looks as if it starts with a 'Y' or 'G' and has a z further in. Not sure about that one.
