I have just found out that my gggrandfather was married to an Ann Triffhit/Treafit and would love to find out more information on the family. My gggrandfather was Thomas Parker b 1827 in Shipton, York. I would also like to find out his mother's maiden name as I have hit a brick wall on her too. His father was Francis Parker.
Would be grateful for any help whatsoever.

Hi
Do you have census details for these Parkers? I can post them if you don't.
The marriage is on FreeBMD
Thomas PARKER and Ann TREAFFIT, 3/1855, York 9d/15
The marriage certificate would give her father's name. According to all censuses she was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Thanks for that Nannawilk, yes I had seen the marriage details and will probably have to send for a certificate. I was hoping someone might have more info on the family. Early days yet though. Would love a copy of the census details if that is possible, thank you so much in advance.
