Hello the name doesn't sound familiar, my Grandad was Harold Lloyd a shipping clerk and his first wife was Lucy who died when my Father was eight or nine. My Grandad remarried a woman called Alice who had several children...Ivy , Jim and George are names that come to mind. My Uncle John was Mayor of Stockport in the 1990's.

and still at that address 1929 so maybe not your man?
Have you a house number by chance? I could look to see who was head of the household for both those two years if you want?
Manchester library has directories for every odd year up to 1969, if you can get there and you could also check out the electoral roll to.

She is buried in Southern cemetery Manchester and along with her is a Harold Lloyd buried Dec 1942 age 52
And a Frank Harrison  Lloyd  who died May 1981
Could this be the same family?

Sorry scrub that lot they would be to young to married in 1904 Doh! Just put it down to one of me senile moment  :-[

Do you have ages/dates of birth for them? or anything to give us a clue as to where to start with them?

I think the Lucy Lloyd I want died in around 1929, I think that the Frank Lloyd may be right..come to think of it Harrison may be Lucy Lloyds maiden name.

the Lucy who died 1925 would be Harold Lloyd's wife

The marriage cert would not give mother's name -or mother deceased

I think Lucy was Lucy Edwards -as in marriage MIGKY posted earlier

I don't know if this will make a difference but it's a Scottish Marriage certificate and it does have  Lucy Lloyd MS Harrison  ( deceased ) on it.
