Hi,
I found an entry for my great great grandfather, Albert Trapp, on
Index of WA Obituaries
http://www.genealogybuff.com/misc/west_australia_obits.htm?
Does anyone know how I can look up the actual obituary? On the Index it just has Albert Trapp, died age 57 in 1916.
Thanks in advance,
Sharon.

Hi Cando,
Thanks for the link. Thanks, also to everyone else for your replies. I was hoping that the Index of W.A Obituaries might be for newspaper obituaries. Does anyone know if that is the case?
Thanks,
Sharon.

Hi Sharon
From your linked website
Index of Western Australia Obituaries
From Various Local and National Newspapers
So not just Western Australia.
Hope you find it.

Thanks Cando,
I wasn't able to find the obituary. A relation contacted the Karrakatta Cemetery where Albert is buried and they sent her a copy of the 'Form of Instructions for Grave and Application for Order for Burial.' This gave us further information - his occupation of Cabinet Maker (which was also his father's occupation); his birthplace of Adelaide, South Australia (which agrees with our records) It also gave us his cause of death and the place where his death occurred - the House of Peace in Subiaco. I was able to find a photo of the House of Peace on the Internet, so my mother is very pleased with all the additional information. We have now sent away for the death certificate, hoping that it may provide some more information, but at the least, it will confirm that he is our Albert.
