I have found female ancestors who worked in a tobacco factory in Bristol as cigarette makers and later cigarette box makers.
Is there a list of Bristol Tobacco Cos
Does anyone know if W.D. & H.O. Wills or other tobacco company's had their employees lists made available to the public. I have found one on this website for 1920
www.stiles-genealogy.co.uk/misc/m-willsemployees.asp
I would like any help in finding out more lists between 1890 and 1911.

You may be able to find tobacco companies in bristol through the Directories which often give names and businesses. THey also often have some adverts in for businesses.

you could try the Bristol Record office - it's in a former bonded warehouse for tobacco!
