Title: Denis Curran Sgt Major Cameron Highlanders born 1904 Coldstream
Post by: holly129 on Monday 25 January 10 10:54 GMT (UK)
Looking for any information on familes of Denis Curran born 1904 Coldstream to Patrick Curran and Mary McKay Wilson. He was Sgt Major in Cameron Highlanders, and was married to Caroline Davidson Williamson. He died 1983 Inverness. They had children Catherine born 1930 Inverness and Denis born 1933 Invernes. Denis Curran born 1933 may have gone over to England and living in Bognor Regis. Any information on the children would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Denis Curran was my Grandfather. There is a photograph of him on the Cameron Highlanders site, he is the sergeant in the kilt, being captured at St Valery in 1940.

I'll let my Father and Cousin know about your questions, they will have far more information.
