Post by: caroleh1 on Saturday 23 January 10 20:43 GMT (UK)
I am looking for information on Eliza Rendell who married William Moors in 1858 in West Coker.

Unfortunately that is the only information I have.

Can any one help?

Hi,

A copy of her marriage certificate should give the name and occupation of her father;  these details can then be used to trace her in 1841/1851 census records.

Eliza Rendall   DecQ  1858    Yeovil  5c    866        (from FreeBMD)

Copies can be ordered online from GRO, cost £7 and take about a week to arrive (if in UK).

Nanny Jan is right, and it looks as though you may need that cert because Eliza is not leaping out of the census index at me just now ...........   :D

Going by Freereg you have two choices.
Both of these are at St Martins, West Coker.

21st May 1835
Eliza baptised to parents Phineas & Rebecca RENDELL father a Labourer

9th July 1837
Eliza baptised to parents George & Jemmima RENDELL father a Labourer

Looks as though you will still need that marriage certificate.

Cheers
Geoff
