I am looking for the birth details of William French b abt 1810 and married Hannah Rose in Long Itchington in 1932.
I have his parents as John French and Elizabeth Clarke b abt 1780, but not known where or when born or married.
I have 14 children for William and Hannah, 8 of whom died in infancy.

Hi Trish - thanks for this info, it was most informative.
As you said, it is very sad. Of the 6 children who lived beyond infancy Hannah born 1838 was my 2xGreat Grandmother. Her daughter Hannah also had two Hannahs, the first died obviously. The 2nd was my Great Grandmother who at my Mothers wedding gifted mum with a fancy cup, saucer and plate set. Mum gave that to me just before she died and I am very thrilled to still have it and able to pass it down after me.
Your last entry on William Rose - I have, from Hugh Wallis IGI, his birth as 17/06/1792 in Rowington.
I'm not sure which of these is correct.
Regards - Evan

Hi - Now that I have Williams details, I am after his father, John French's details. I have him born about 1772 married to Elizabeth Clarke 1802 and with 2 children, Ann 1802 and William 1810 - which seems a very large gap between births. - Evan
