Title: FOAY and MANSELL
Post by: vickim on Monday 18 January 10 21:03 GMT (UK)
Hi,
William Henry FOAY married (1) Amelia Elizabeth MANSELL (daughter of William and Amelia nee Snead) in 1892
They had 3 childlren that I am sure of-
Maude Elizabeth(remained spinster), Gladys Amelia(died young), and May Adelaide(married John Oliver Claudius Hill).
I am unsure about whether Amelia Ann (b 1893 d 1894) is one of their daughters.
Amelia Elizabeth died in 1907 and in  1909 William Henry married her sister Matilda.
They had 3 children-Ethel Matilda,  Hilda V  and  Doris R(she died as infant).

Does anyone have any information on  Ethel and Hilda?

Thanks and cheers
Vicki

Hi Suz,
That is wonderful- thank you so much for the information. You have given me good leads. Went further with the Boggis-Foay marriage. Turns out he was a policeman and was killed in War. So they werent married very long not sure yet if they had any children. Will keep on with the search.
Once again
Thanks
Vicki
