Title: 1841/51 census Bridlington help please
Post by: salclem on Wednesday 16 March 05 09:36 GMT (UK)
Hello,
Can anyone help found our family, the WILES in Bridlington or Hutton Cranswick please?
The only information I have is:

Marmaduke Wiles born Hutton Cranswick 1771 married Dorothy Carr 1n 1801 in Bridlington. Their son Robert was born around 1815 in Hutton Cranswick. Robert married Ruth Walker in 1838.

In the 1841 census, Marmaduke and Dorothy would be around 70 if still alive
Their sons Marmaduke would be 23, and Robert and wife Ruth would be around 26.

Any news would be most welcome,
     Many thanks,
               Sally
