I'm looking for any information about the St.George family of Hatley St.George. One of the Baldwin St.George's married Barzilia daughter of Oxham de Mepham. Anyone have any info on who he was?

Welcome to Rootschat
Was this 1901, 1601 or 1301?

In fact it was even earlier than 1301!
Barzilia daughter of Oxham de Mepham. Anyone have any info on who he was?
I don't think Oxham de Mepham was anybody!
See http://groups.google.co.uk/group/soc.genealogy.medieval/browse_thread/thread/89309668e78b769a/8c70f1be3bcc8231?q=mepham+group:soc.genealogy.medieval#8c70f1be3bcc8231 for an interpretation of that particular line in the Visitation of Cambs.
This family is also mentioned at http://groups.google.co.uk/group/soc.genealogy.medieval/browse_thread/thread/b16c72c661d95ccf/4f7809dbb987bfc0?q=mepham+group:soc.genealogy.medieval#4f7809dbb987bfc0 by Rosie Bevan who is an excellent medieval genealogist. She describes Barzilia as "Basilia de Soham of Mepham, Isle of Ely widow of Eymond Turenberd, Constable of the Tower of London "
So Barzilia's first husband was Simon/Aymo de Turenberd, and the first link above gives her father as Ralph de Soham, citing VCH Cambs - see http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=18960
For more detail of the St George family you need to consult the Visitation of Cambs 1575 which you can download at http://www.archive.org/details/visitationcambr00britgoog . The St George pedigree starts on page 89
