Looking for ANY info on.
WILLIAM GEORGE BECKETT
b1922 Pembroke.
Trying to find army number etc.
Sorry not a lot to go on.

A real tall order. If he wasn't commissioned, received a gallantry award or became a casualty, then the info will not (generally) be in the public domain.

Was he definately army? The only WILLIAM GEORGE BECKETT I can find in the London Gazette is one for the RAF (183687). That's assuming your Beckett was commissioned.

Managed to find his army number.
From what I  can gather he lied about his age, he gave it as
25/5/20., so he could join up.
His army number was
4035126.
And he was a trooper
Hope this helps, any info on his army, or family
