Post by: rox on Wednesday 13 January 10 22:24 GMT (UK)
Hi .I'm looking to contact anyone with information or related to the clevelands a family of fishermen who lived in the sculcoates area. They are sometimes called fendley or findley - clevelands. I have found a photo of my grt grt grt grandpa on a trawlers of hull website James cleveland b1837 and his wife anastasia b 1836. They were posted by a barry cleveland and an ernest cleveland. Would love to know if they are still around. I link into the lynch, phillips and ivesons and huftons (lincs) through these families. My gt grandpa and granma were called Richard fendley cleveland and Nellie Cleveland (nee iveson). Please get in touch and share your info.
Thanx Rox
