Anyone with information regarding the family history of Anne Fahey (would have called herself Collison or Collinson), Albert Collison (or Collinson), Micheal Reardon (son of Anne could have been late teens) and Maria Collison (or Collison) born 1957 who lived I think in the New Haw area prior to moving to 90 Molsey Close in Hersham?
Not sure if the family also lived at 'Weytots Island' as it was known locally in a caravan before going to New Haw - I cannot really say where this was exactly which only adds to the mystery of this family!
I can find no trace of Michael Reardon born in 1952 and would like to know what happened to him as we are putting together family history - someone said he could have died but no death record in that name can be found at the time he was supposed to have died - bit puzzling?!
Any ideas please send me a message!

Hi
My Grandparents owned Weytots Island in New haw and had a weekend bungalow on it. There were no roads as such to it and there was an old Golf House near and we used to have to go across land owned by the Red Cross to reach it. It was on the banks of the river Wey and when the water rose, the back waters used to come round and turn it in to an island.
I think Anne's husband worked with someone my Grandparents knew and when they lost their house (don't know the details of that), my Grandmother felt sorry for them and let them put a caravan on her land.
When we used to visit as children, my sister and I would play with Maria and Michael (Mickey) and their dog Rex. I rememebr Anne feeding another baby and Maria had the baby clothes on her doll, so I think there was another child.
I can't remember the father or when they moved off Weytots Island but know they moved to a house. My Grandparents sold Weytots in the early 70's and the family had left several years before that.
I am not sure how old Mickey was when he did a ouwegi board which said he would die when he was 19. When Mickey was 19 he hung himself behind his bedroom door, Anne, his mother found him. Very tragic.
Maria married a fireman.
Sorry to bear such a sad story.
