hello all, Also posted on the Photo Restoration board
I am desperate to find a photograph of my GG Grandmother,none of my family has ever seen a picture of her, because of a family rift between her and her son.
She was Mary Jessie Grant or Kidd
Born c1862
Her parents were Alexander Grant and Janet Jamieson or Grant.
Mary Jessie married William Kidd on the 6/12/1882.
Mary lived in Keith, Bannfshire, she died in 1921.

Hi Leandre
It might be worth you seeing if there is an obituary for her in the local press. This might well list the mourners who you could then attempt to follow up (or their descendants). Maybe even put an ad in the paper or write to the editior.
The only one that I can find at the moment is the Banffshire Herald

Thanks so very much for the links, I have found her husbands obit :) unfortunatly he is not the father of my grandad, hence the rift. I have also contacted a couple of people on GR. I will go back to the papers and keep searching.
