Title: Wilkinson Family
Post by: lynne april on Friday 08 January 10 22:15 GMT (UK)
:)   I am lookig for any descendats of Thomas Herbert sidney Wilkinson who married Ida Petty.  they had children Herbert Wilkinson who married Florence Ethel Wolverson, Sidney Wilkinson, Norman Wilkinson.  I am particularly after descendents of Sidney and Norman as I am the grand daughter of Herbert.  My father is Bryan Wilkinson who married Sheila Shepherd in 1965.

I am also trying to find the place of burial for Herbert who died in 1956 in Walsall.

Thank you

Hello,

I think Thomas Wilkinson might be in my family - I'd be descended from his brother Ernest.

Does any of the following sound right?

I've found a birth record for a Thomas Herbert S Wilkinson in Apr-May-Jun 1873, registered in Walsall. I'm sure that Thomas is in my family. I believe he turns up in the 1901 census in Walsall, down as Thomas Wilkinson, but married to Elizabeth (apparently born in Newark, USA) with a son Sidney (b 1900). Do you think he married twice?

I coundn't find a death record in the index for Herbert Wilkinson in 1956 in Walsall.. ???

  :)

Hi That is my Great Grand father - he did marry Elizabeth born in NewJersey, but have no record why she was born there orwhy her family went there.  Thomas's son Herbert was my dad's dad.

Thomas was born on 20th May 1873 - if you want to sendme your information from Ernest to my home email address that would be fine. I  can then  copy what I have and send it to you.  It looks as though we could be cousins.

My email address is (*) if you head email Wilkinson I will beable to find it.

Thankyou

Lynne Bott
