Just had a look - that was of NO use to you whatsoever. Sorry.
It's normally a great source of info on street changes.

Rolland Street used to be called Hutcheson Street, Maryhill

Mason street appears to vanish in the 1860's - A glut of building took place both industrial premises and tenement buildings went up. Most of those streets created around that time have also vanished but there was one in the same area called Marson Street.
If you go to Google maps and type in Castle Street Glasgow the area will be highlighted and is to the left of the Royal Infirmary

rolland street was demolished around 1971..it ran across vernon street(which is now an extension of queen margret drive)and marmion street...it ran from maryhill road to oran street..which is still there....i lived at 138 and133

Thank you for that information...I lived at number 7, and then we moved to Cadder....since then Ive been moving around the world but never forgot Maryhill. thanks again

Hi there I was born in Rolland Street, born in 1949 and raised there. In doing my ancestory I found it was named Belfort Street before becoming Rolland Street. So if anyone has any names they want to look up for that time period (1950s to 1967) around no 25 Rolland Street then hope I can help.
