Hi,
I am looking for any information regarding the Hyland family in Kingswinford. My grgr grandparents were married in 1853 in Kingswinford in the Chapel at Stourbridge by Fr. Walter Keen. I believe they lived in the area from 1853 until 1874 when they left for the US. My grgr grandfather's name was Joseph Hyland and he married Mary Maher. Joseph also had a brother, Thomas and sisters Eliza, who married William Wall and Bridget who married Thomas Johnson. Joseph's mother was Mary and his father William. I have no record of William coming to England but married lived in the Kingswinford area until her death in the 1860's.
I believe that Joseph worked in the coal mines in the area. Is there any records available for the miners in this area?
Any information would be valuable.
