I am looking for ancestors of my grandfather Ronald Philip Walters (1924 - 1970)
Apparently, he never talked much about his family.
All i know is that his father was called Ernest Walters (1877-1934), he married someone called Ethel Caroline - her maiden name was also Walters (1882-1937).
Would be nice to see if anyone had an information on the family or knew of any other ancestors.

The marriage is on FreeBMD
Your first step could be to get the marriage cert, which will hopefully give both fathers' names and occupations and might lead you to the families in 1901
Ap/May/Jun 1903
Kensington 1a 386
Ethel Caroline Walters - one of grooms is Ernest Walters
or you may find the births on FreeBMD and be able to get the birth certs - you have the year of birth and the names are not too common

In 1901
Ethel C is a 19 yr old servant in a H/H in Kensington - just right for her marriage in 1903!
Looks like your grandfather was a late baby as they had been married 21 years by his birth.

That's brilliant.
Thank you, it's gives me something to go on.

I know this thread is quite old but I'm looking for descendants of a "Ronald P Walters" born 11 May 1924 and died in 1970. The birthdate listed on the death record is also the 11th May 1924. I found the birthdate on the 1939 register where he was living with his brother John W Walters was born January 13th 1934 and his parents were William G Walters and Louisa Ann Kitty Walters (maiden name "Coutts"). In 1939 there were living at 15, Block V, Sutton Way , Kensington, London.
Did John or his brother suffer with fits at all as this is what my aunt seems to remember about one of them when she was very young.
If so please reply!
