I would like to find a birth for Elizabeth. She married Edgar Tindall 05 Aug 1916 Hammersmith London. She gave her age as 27 and her father was Patrick Higgins.
On the marriage certificate her name is Elizabeth Esther however the 1911 census shows her name as Elizabeth Hestie Higgins and being born 1890.
I would also like her mother and siblings if possible
Thanks

this is the best match that I see on the Familysearch Irish Civil Index (http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#c=1408347;p=2;t=searchable) :
Name: Eliza Higgins
Registration district: Rathdrum
Record type: Birth
quarter and year: Apr - Jun 1889
Volume: 2 / Page: 867
The registration district of Rathdrim covers a large area in southern Co. Wicklow - including : Arklow, Wicklow Town, Rathdrum etc
You can order a birth cert from the GRO (http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm) using the above index details - a cert will give more details - e.g. father's name and occupation (can be used to compare to the marriage details you have), mother's name and maiden name, place and date of birth, etc
I think Esther & Hestie are equivalent - records for my own gg-grandmothers records have the same variation.

Could this be her family in 1911 Census in Ireland.

Would the names in the census add up? Perhaps she named some of her children after family members like Sarah etc.
The Patrick Higgins in Census was a General Labourer and Roman Catholic does this agree with the marriage record in England of Elizabeth Higgins?
For the Patrick Higgins in the census this appears to be possible marriage
Patrick Higgins
Registration District: Rathdrum
Year and Quarter: Apr-Jun 1880

Sarah Forbes
Registration District: Rathdrum
Year and Quarter: Apr-Jun 1880

The marriage is also on this website date given as 26 April 1880

Thanks Ger
I managed to find the marriage and I suspect that they are her parents but I am not sure .On her marriage certificate it states that the fathers occupation is House Steward which is not a general labourer. The marriage took place at St Augustines' R.C. church.I think the only way to check if that is the correct family will be through an earlier census .
Best wishes for the holidays

1901 Census should be online in 2010.
Do the children of Edgar Tindall & Elizabeth correspond name wise with any of the children of Patrick Higgins and Sarah Forbes.
Was one of them Sarah?
Names of child might be the biggest clue we can use at moment.
A stewart might have only being classed as a Labourer by the third party filling out the census. Plus in the Irish Census it was desired to be categorised into defined occupations so might just have categorised him as General Labourer. Plus Elizabeth might have made her father's job sound more important too.

The only child that I could find was a George F which does not correspond to any Tindalls that I have researched. No help there.

Children are listed with parents

Will need the 1901 census to confirm if that is all the children or if Elizabeth was part of the family .She would have been 22 in 1911.

In first post you had her in 1911 English Census am I right?
Is George the only child you have of Edgar Tindall and Elizabeth?
