Title: Jarrow and Bede
Post by: sharma.fraser on Friday 18 December 09 20:05 GMT (UK)
Hello,

I am looking for pictures from work done in Jarrow in the 1920-40's, anything to do with Bede.  My great-granddad was part of the carpentry team and he was featured in the pictures.  I have seen them in the past but they seem to have been lost.  They were published in a book about Jarrow.  I am unsure of the title though.

His name was Joseph Esdale Brown, but I am unsure if his mame was listed in the book.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely

Sharon  :)

Do you mean the carpentry work done in Jarrow, 1920-40s was to do with Bede, and your great-grandfather was involved, or do you want any information to do with Bede?

Stan

thank you all !

I will send off to the places mentioned.

I have loads of info about Bede and the history, but i was my great grand dad that did some of the restoration work there.

Sometimes I want to kick myself -  I wish I had started researching while i was still in Yorkshire - not when i moved to Canada!

Have a Merry Holidays!
