Going out on an even farther limb, here.
I am hoping to find someone who has studied the Brandon family in London. They were involved in a flower nursery business (Brandon Estates) on the outskirts of London, which became a long, drawn out settlement of an estate. My line is the following:
Maryanne Brandon (1824-1861) married Montmorenacy Durant Stokes (1809-1861) they died in a tragic house fire in London.
her father: Thomas Rudgely Brandon married Lydia Purvey.
his father: Thomas Brandon (1770-1798) married Agnes Rudgely.
his father: Thomas Brandon (1740-1796) married Mary Crouch (1746-1798)
his father: Richard Brandon married Elizabeth__________.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MooGoo
I am researching the Brandon family in Middlesex area of London for an in-law.
I don't know if we will find a link but I thought I would say.
I am really stuck without a marriage certificate for CHARLES BRANDON & ELIZABETH POLLEY (married 1933 Edmonton 3a 1619 (Oct-Dec) as I don't know their father's names and therefore cannot be sure where they were both born.
I can't be sure of an occupation for father's either, so the 1911 census is not helpful to pinning them down yet.
I'll keep a look out for your names/dates as and when I get there!

That looks promising in many ways as the son moved to Bournemouth too.
I only knew her name from the marriage and surname from son's birth record.
So at the moment other family members is a blank.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Suz
I have managed to find a snippet of info about Elizabeth (nee Polley) - that she IS likely to have died in Bournemouth after moving from London to run a hotel with Charles.
I can't find a record on freebmd for Charles Brandon in terms of a death. The only one in the surrounding area is the Isle of Wight in 1965 which gives an age of 75 years and would tie in with records for a Charles birth of 1889 Amersham / 1890 Kensington or 1891 Luton perhaps??
I think there is a possibility of Charles being shot in Burma during the (1st) war and being brought home injured.
