Hi

Does anyone know any details of what Ballykeel Artifinny is or was like in the mid - late 1880s?

My great grandmother Emma b circa 1843 was from there and I believe these are her male relations

They are mentioned above in Griffiths valuation - would any records still exist and if so where?

Ros Davies site ( http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/index.html ) has some info and a map of Hillsborough townlands
(http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rosdavies/MAPS/HillsboroughTownlands.htm), which shows Ballykeel Artifinny and its location. Rolling farmland, probably owned by the Marquis of Downshire.
