Hi, could someone please look to see if Hannah WILLIAMS, who died in 1895 aged 81, is buried at Trealaw Cemetery. She is probably buried with her first husband, Samuel MORGAN who died sometime between 1851-56.
Many thanks
Angela

There are a few (23) Hannah WILLIAMS's listed, but not one them even closely match the age or year that you request.
Samuel wouldn't be buried there, Trealaw Cemetery didn't open until around 1881/1882.

Thanks for looking. Do you know the area? If so, is there another municipal cemetery or am I looking for a chapel burial?

Your probably going to have to look for a chapel burial.
The other municipal cemeteries in the locality (and approximate dates of opening) are:
Glyntaff 1874 -
Ferndale 1877 -
Penrhys 1927 -
Treorchy 1874 -
Tonyrefail ?
What village were your ancestors from ?

They were originally from Llangynin in Carmarthenshire but moved to Cymmer, Porth area around 1850.

Here is a link to a discussion about Cymmer Chapel:

(there is a downloadable burial index included in the messages)
Tonyrefail is not far from Cymmer, and there are transcriptions of the burial registers available here:
