Hi everyone :)
Love it or hate it, it's that time of the year again :)
So if any of you are coming to wonderful Lincoln,
don't forget to push your way through the crowds and come and say hello.
my shop is 3 down , on the right at the bottom of the big steep hill :) :)
I and my volunteers will be dressed up as Victoria serving maids, :)
it would be great to see you :-*

If anyone passing Eilleen's shop could pop in and deliver the birth certificate of Annie MOORE, then 2010 could be a Happy New Year for everyone :-*
When I said the LCM was on in the coming week, my missus said we'd have to go there one year :o

Are you and your maids serving hot mince pies, Eilleen? If so, then you may see me! I have a cousin who is insisting on coming up from Berks/Oxfordshire border for the market - I've told her she's mad - must run in the family! ;D

Great Idea that birth certificate, it would feel like all my Christmas's had come at once ;D
Polly, you bring the mince pie's , I'll stick them in the microwave :)
We usually only serve up abuse :D :D :D Only joking, it would be great to see you :)
the only thing is , if any of you do want to pop in the shop and say Hi ,
I shut about 5.00 pm every night , so make sure you come early :-* I want no complaint
later .about missing me etc, etc, :D :D

Is that Canwick Hill, Lindum Hill or Steep Hill ;) ;) ;)

poacher54 :)
Start at the first one, and end at the last,
then you'll be ready for more than just a mince pie :) :)

:) :) :)
What a pity this offer wasn't on Rootschat 2 years ago. This was when we had a lovely time at the Market and stayed at the Bailhouse Hotel which I can fully recommend. Then on our way home, the icing on the cake was visiting my great buddy the lovely Su. What a terrific time we had.
For the last two years we have been to Manchester Christmas Markets which, again, are truly great. See below

Polly came to see me :) bought me chocolates, Thank you Polly :-*
I'm now having a day of rest :)
The best thing about this years Christmas market was the weather ,
It brought out the best in folk, they did'nt have to walk round soaked.
I hope that if any Rootchatters came to the market they had a good time :)
even though only Polly popped in to say hello ::)
