A possible 1901 for Martha - all b Gorton except William
63 Cross Lane Gorton
William Brandreth 42 b Ashbourne Derbyshire
Elizabeth 40
Ethel 11
Clara 9
Frances 4
Martha Corden 34 sister in law b Gorton (unmarried)
RG13 Piece 3691 Folio 11 Page 13
Marriages Dec 1888
William Brandreth Chorlton 8c 955
Elizabeth Ann Corden Chorlton 8c 955
If Alfred had sons Fred and Albert from his first marriage then the family were in Prestwich in 1911 and the 1901 entry for Martha above is correct

Sorry but I do not know whats happened. You are right Carole, I didnt receive anything from you till I got the PM from you. Sorry for any confussion.
Carole, you were spot on with Martha Corden. I went into a chat room and was told about the free BMD website and found those details. I have since confirmed it with marriage cert that I got hold of from a cousin who is also tracing the Collier family.
Thanks so much for all your help :-)
