Hi,
I'm looking for any information regarding Richard Jones (1820 - 1904) born in Llansilin and his family in general. He's known to be from Henfache and then Glanaber. I have him throughout the censuses, but he seems to be well known in the community (He and his two brothers John and William are written about in Cofiant y Tri Brawd, but I cannot read the Welsh) and was wondering if anyone had any general information about him, especially regarding his daughter Rose Jones (1843 - 1880, Married David Davies) and her Children as I'm from that lineage.
Bit of a long shot I know.
Thanks in advance for anything!

Would this be him,

I think I may well be. I know he was involved somehow in the Wesleyan Church, and his daughter Elizabeth married a Wesleyan minister called Robert Thomas Owen who died between 1871 and 1881. I can't quite work out the Birkenhead connection though.
Thank you very much for this!

Hi, I actually live at Henfache and I am married to the Great Great Great (I think) Grandson of Richard Jones, the family have now sold Glanaber and built a bungalow for retirement but otherwise the farm remains in the same family and hopefully will do so for many generations to come. Actually there is a Family Bible that has a list of marriages and births handwritten in the front pages and this is passed on through the sons, unfortunately we have not been able to add any births to it ourselves but a Grandson/Nephew will carry on the Jones name and farming. Please feel free to ask any questions about the farm or to see pictures internally or externally.

Richard Jones is my 2nd Great Grandfather (via William Henry Jones). His life and that of his brothers is detailed in Cofiant y tri brawd: Jones, Henfache, Jones, Y Bryn, Jones, Glashirfryn, including his trip to USA and Canada. This book is in Welsh, which isn't my strong point in anyway, but I have tried to translate some of it, if anyone is interested.
