Wonder if you would be able to do a lookup on a Luke HOOK who was living in Dartford Kent in the 1850s. Can you see him in the 1841/51/61 censes.
I am hoping he might hold the key to my Hook's who were also from Dartford. Seems to be the only one listed in trade directories for that town.
Many thanks, Katharine.

Hi Katherine
I've moved this Kent which could be more appropriate than where it was.
Do you have any information about Luke such as a place and year of birth or who his parents were?

From IGI Luke HOOK married Jane PIERCE, 4 Oct 1802, Bexley, Kent. A number of daughters shown on the IGI, but no sons. This often happened in IGI transcriptions. The Dartford PRs are online at CityArk, no index, you have to go through them one image at a time.

The IGI has a Luke HOOK baptised at Blaisdon, Gloucester, 22 Jul 1783, parenst James and Elizabeth, which could be him.

James HOOK, nephew in 1851 would appear to be son of Daniel and Anna HOOK, according to IGI.
There is a Daniel HOOK bapt 1785 in Blaisdon, Gloucestershire, parents, James and Elizabeth, making him Lukes likely brother.

Following on from my line of enquiry on the HOOK family. Can anyone please see Daniel and Anna HOOK in the 1841/51 censes please?
