What sort of information on George A. Beattie are you trying to find? In general, it's more difficult to locate recent information from online sources.

Thank you fo the census information which I had been able to obtain. My fatherinlaw (now deceased) was one of the sons. When his mother and father divorced he went to live with his mother and his brother went to live with his father. The two boys lost touch with each other and my father in lwa had no cntact with his father. My husband and his family would like t try to find out when their grandfather died and find about their fathers brothers family.

Do you think George A. Beattie stayed in Northern Ireland? Unfortunately civil registration index stops at 1921 for Northern Ireland counties.

Ancestry Ireland shows the death of two Alexander Beatties - one in 1968, making him 87 and the other in 1975 making him 96.
It might be worthwhile paying £4 to look at what they have. It should give an address and the name of the owner of the grave.
Then you could move on from there.
