Hi,
I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents, siblings and children of Catherine Rossiter baptised on 6th November 1836 at St James, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.
Parents are believed to be William Rossiter & Mary Day, who married on October 13th 1833 at Henbury, Gloucestershire.
Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.
Best wishes

Hi Wozzle,
Many thanks for that.
I did not know she had married but it certainly looks like her.
Are you able to find her in the 1841/1851 censuses please?
Best wishes

Hi Wozzle,

Do you know anything about William Rossiter's background? Looking at the records it seems likely that he is the son of a Moses Rossiter ( the Charles you mention is also his son?)
You probably know this already, but i just thought I'd mention it :)

Hi Lee,
Thanks for that.
Checking my database, I do have a Moses Rossiter with sons William & Charles but William was married to Ann and has two children; William jnr born circa 1841 in Walsall and Alfred born circa 1843 in Clerkenwell.
It looks like William may have married twice. He married Mary Day first and then Ann.
Unfortunately, I don't have a marriage date for William and Ann and I don't have Ann's maiden name.
Best wishes
