I am looking for the marriage between Christopher Pottinger and Elizabeth Clark.
I would like to know the date and place of the wedding and if it is available, the parents of the bride and groom.
I'm not sure what information is shown in Pallot's Marriage Index, but I would be grateful for any information that you can give me.

Hi
Pallots does indeed have a record of marriage between Christopher Pottinger & Eliz. Clark, St Andrews, Holborn, 1819.
However, the parish records have the following:
Marriages solomnised in the Parish of St Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex in the Year 1813
Christopher Pottinger of this Parish and Elizabeth Clark of this Parish were married in this church by Banns this twenty-seventh day of December in the Year One thousand eight hundred and thirteen by me H Cotton Curate.
Both signed their names.
Witnesses: Thomas Russell, Jane Clark
No. 304.
Kind regards
Gaie

Pallots is an index card system with names of bride and groom, parish and year only.
Pre-1837 you will not find fathers' names and occupations. You will not find mothers' information either.
Kind regards
Gaie

Thanks for that information.
I didn't realise that Pallot's had so little detail. But at least I've got something to go on now.

Where can I find the Pallots index, when I search I keep ending up at ancestry.co.uk, is that it?

You can access the records for free on FamilySearch https://www.familysearch.org/en/ but you must create an account first.
