I've never heard of a place called "Nook"...so if you ever find out where it is can you please post again?
You will probably have to get the certificate for her death, it 'may' show her parents if she was unmarried. It all depends on who was giving the information at the time.
I've checked the Mercury newspaper for any Wooton/Woolton for that date and there is nothing. I've also checked the Cornelian Bay Cemetery and again nothing listed. There is only a couple of Woolton's and they were in Latrobe - they were a Thomas and Edith Mary Woolton (nee Hall). Although a Mary Ann was not listed (apart from her death of course).
The earlier Pioneer Index has only three Wooton's and no Woolton - again no Mary Ann.

Hi there Webby,
NOOK in Tasmania has a postcode, 7306 ... seems to be west of Railton... and umm ;D north east of a place called "Nowhere Else" ::) ::) ... at least that's the name that I think its called... ;D

Thank you for your reply Webby.
Looking on Google Earth, Nook appears to be inline with but above Shefield.
