Title: mining accident 1867

hi all,
 i have a death cert for john tench died 7/3/1867( dawley  in the county of salop )  age 42  states accidently killed by rock fall in a stonepit
information recieved from deputy coroner bradford district  wellington,salop
inquest held 9/3/1867
first  would there be  any report on this accident , ?as to what pit it was
and could i get the inquest report

I don't have access to the article but an index mentions the name and incident at Langley Field in the 16 March 1867 issue of the Wellington Journal.

Why not try Raleys solicitors site? The coalmining history resource centre, it might have details of the accident.
