Title: Early colour photos Lonsdale Family, Keighley
Post by: richard sullivan on Tuesday 10 November 09 21:31 GMT (UK)
E. Lonsdale of Keighley was a prolific photographer who was unique in that he used the very early color Finlay process. If anyone can provide any information on this family I would appreciate it. The local library cannot.

Iria,

I'm not sure. The name on the glass plates are hand printed "E. Lonsdale". Since Mrs. L is in a lot of the shots, and Mr. L is in only one, I assume he is the photographer. Thanks for this information and for taking the time to respond. -Richard
