dos anybody have any infomation on the bassetts from st germans cornwall

Cornwal has a quite good coverage online
Cornwall-opc.org and Freecen would be good places to begin along with Familysearch.org

William Bassett born about 1705. who married Ann Ford, daughter of John and Mary (Bunce) Ford, on 24 Dec 1731 in St. Germans, Cornwall. Ann was born 1707 in St. Germans, Cornwall, England
i have most if not all generations up to me :) (blood line)
the children but not the childrens children if that make sence. which i would like to fill in.
also it seems i had two uncles.........Richard John Hocking Bassett – born 6 Nov 1904 (DC) in Minions, Liskeard. died 1970.
and
William T. H. Bassett – born Sep Qtr 1912 in Liskeard District, Cornwall, England. which i know nothing about.

with the later info. you are hinder by the 100 year rule,
and i expect i have access to the same search engines as you but wil have a look :)

only the certifcates wil tell you that however if the child was still born they shouldnt be in the GRO index (or does that only apply from 1927?)

as for amy....know idea. same d.o.b as Richard John Hocking Bassett.

do you have Richard Johns birth cert ?
if it states a time of birth it usually means that they were a twin
It doesnt look like RJ served in the war or if he did he didnt use the Hocking part of his name :-\

Throbber i don't have any info. on the Bassetts other than i have found online it might be worth you contacting Keith G Bassett at the link i gave you earlier he maybe able to help

these two rootschatters also have Bassetts from St German
so it might be worth sending them a PM
