Hi guys

Im looking for an old street in south shields when it used to be part of durham called addison street. 

Also my relation had a general dealers and shows as a shop keeper and wondered if there was a shop in the above street also.

I checked kelly register but only george thompson I could find who was a general dealer had a shop in Gateshead but doubt this was him

Hope someone can help

I have a map from this period but I can't see it, are you able to use the census to find out which streets were either side and I'll look again?
