Title: charles smith 1890's in wanborough

hello ,

I need in information about a Charles Smith born in London married to Annie born in Nottingham who was living in Rotten Row in Wanborough in the 1890's. His father was george Talbot smith and mother Sarah. Charles later married my great great aunt Harriett Julia Pritchett in 1907 in Wanborough also from Nottingham.

My father says Charles' family was something to do with General Brook-popham who defeated Singapore in the war. His real name was Sir Robert Henry Moore.

Cany anyone help? Charles is a retired farmer and is living on his own means.
