Hi o coigligh
do you have any idea when he came to Greenock
I done a general search on SP 1881 census and 1891
there are only two on the 1881 and 1 on the 1891
but the ages dont match up
also done a death search and again 4 William Quigley's
but not in the age range unless his age was not recorded
there is this site
not many Quigley's on it though

is there a website or a contact for people buried in greenock cemetery?
or does anyone have a trade directory for greenock for around 1890-1920 which may list william quigley as a bar owner
thanks mark

Mark contact the Watt library, they will be able to check a street directory for you

What was your GGG Grandas name? just that I descend from Quigleys that moved to Greenock around 1855.
My 4x G Granda, Dennis & his brother John (moved to Glasgow then Greenock), could they be related to your own search? All I Know of them were they they were born in Donegal, Ireland, think the place was Eschine.
