Hi Everyone
Hope someone can Help, Would like to find
Joshua Hartshorne/Hartshorne 37 Coal miner
Ann (wife) 35
Joshua(son) 14
Living in Bilston.

Also if they can be found on the 1851 census
any help would be appreciated.

Hi Margaret,

I can't help with your 1861 look up I'm afraid, but I am researching Hartshorn/e and I do have a Joshua, albeit probably not the one you are looking for.   Joshua Hartshorne, born about 1857 was the son of Richard and Murwin Maria Hartshorne of Dudley, Worcs.   Richard was a miner and his wife was a nail maker.   If there is likely to be a connection no doubt you will contact me.

I am tracking Joshua Hartshorne born in Dudley abt 1857. He married Hannah Gill from Dudley and had Florence, Walter, and Edwin. He died in Philipsburg, PA.  He is my 2nd great grandfather. Quite possibly the same person!

I haven't done any research on this side of my family for quite a while but this certainly looks like the same Joshua; his sister Maria was my great-grandmother.
