Post by: colinwatson9 on Saturday 31 October 09 19:31 GMT (UK)
Hi all
I went up to Skipton in august doing some research on my family the Watsons.
I found a street called Watsons houses, asked the museum to look into for me but have never got back to me.
Whilst in museum found that this st existed in 1838 map i was looking at.

question is does anybody know where i can find out about this st.

Hi Colin,

I cannot be much help but have you seen the website about the Rowley Collection, Skipton, it will come up on a google search.  There are some more photo's of the area.  As far as I am aware there should be more stuff in the Libriary on the high street in the reference section up stairs.  If you visit soon it may be worth enquiring with them to see if there is anything of interest to you.

Just checking in on this thread so I can keep up with what is happening. I live not far from Skipton.

What information are you exactly requiring about the street?

Philip
